Application Procedures

Eligible local HKDSE applicants should apply for admission to SSSDP programmes through Joint University Programmes Admissions Scheme (JUPAS).
The application period for 2027 entry will be 7 October – 2 December 2026, 5pm.

The intake places of programmes under SSSDP are mainly allocated through JUPAS. HSUHK will also admit local non-JUPAS applicants (HKDSE applicants exclusive) via direct admission of no more than 20% of the subsidised places of the respective programme.

Application details for local non-JUPAS applicants will be announced in due course. Please click here for the revised eligibility criteria of the government-subsidised post-secondary student places applicable to the 2027-28 cohort and onwards, as per HKSAR Government’s announcement on 31 July 2025.

Late application will not be accepted. Please note that JUPAS applicants are not eligible to submit non-JUPAS application for SSSDP programmes.
